NEW POLYEAST TALENT BEING SUPPORTED BY PONY SHOES

With her innate talent not only in acting but also in music, former child actress ISABELLE DE LEON is carving out a niche for herself.

More popularly known as Duday in the TV sitcom Daddy Di Du Do, with comedian and TV host Vic Sotto, Isabelle’s charming portrayal of her role easily captured the hearts and imagination of the show’s followers. For Isabelle acting had always been a childhood dream. Her very first audition was for a role in GMA 7’s Munting Anghel, where out of the 200 kids who auditioned, some of whom had already experience in TV commercials and acting, she was chosen to play one of the main characters.

For someone who had a good start and grew up in show business, this young lady is now gaining a different perspective of the industry. At 18, she confessed that being in show business “has its rewards, but to keep up with the business, it involves a lot of patience and hard work.”

Isabelle just signed a contract with record label PolyEast as she explores her passion for music with her debut album tentatively called The Love Zone, which contains an all-original music showcasing her talent in composing and song-writing and will be out this coming February.

A musician at heart, Isabelle plays several musical instruments and lists Elvis Presley, The Beatles, The Carpenters, Led Zeppelin, U2, Steven Tyler, Coldplay, Katy Perry, Michael Jackson, Heber Bartolome, and Bamboo as her musical influences because she admires “their passion for music and the way it made an impact to the lives of the people in their generation.”

Of the artists mentioned above, Katy Perry not only serves as a musical influence but also a style icon for Isabelle. “I like her because she 's unafraid to try out new things and carry it with confidence. She balances being cute and girly but a rocker chick at the same time.”

Isabelle described her personal style as vintage punk rock preferring vintage loose tops, ripped skirts, plaids, checkered sleeves, faded shorts and kick-ass Pony shoes. But she also admits that she liked to be all dolled-up and dress really girly at times. Her rock and roll attitude, creativity, and pure talent are also the same reasons why the popular shoe brand Pony picked her to be its ambassador. Pony marketing manager Donna Santos said “Isabelle is unique and extraordinary. Apart from being a very good actor, she’s also a very good singer, musician (plays the guitar, drums and harmonica), composer and aspiring illustrator. She’s not afraid to express who she really is and create her own style. She possesses all the qualities that reflect the Pony brand.”

For Isabelle, Pony shoes fit her perfectly because “they’re so durable and comfy! Plus, they've got a lot of really awesome designs that every artist, musician or simple teenager who wants to look cool would fall in love with!”
